Uziel Saldivar

Hi, I’m Uziel.

I’m a senior Information Science student at the University of Maryland, College Park, with a background in Computer Science and an Associate degree in Computer Engineering from Prince George’s Community College.

My primary interests lie in network infrastructure and data analytics, where I enjoy analyzing systems, optimizing performance, and working with data to uncover meaningful insights. I also have hands-on experience in web development, database implementation, optimization modeling, and applying statistical methods in data analysis.

Throughout my academic journey, I’ve gained practical industry experience across warehouse operations, retail environments, and IT contracting projects. These roles strengthened my leadership, technical operations, and problem-solving abilities while teaching me how to perform effectively under pressure.

As a result, I bring a strong foundation of transferable skills including analytical reasoning, systems thinking, team communication, customer service, adaptability, and attention to detail.

I’m driven by curiosity and continuous improvement, and I’m always looking to expand my technical knowledge and apply it in meaningful ways.
